Hi, as a returning player getting into mythic+ playing assassination rogue, even though I read about the mechanics of trash and bosses, I don't know when to best utilize my toolkit as a rogue. Places when shroud is most useful, or where to pull vanish or cc etc. I do decide sometimes during the encounter to cc something if I see the team is struggling a bit, but is there a rogue guide out there for these type of things? Most guides focus on gearing, essences azerites talents, but that's not what am looking for. Thanks

Sure, there are lots of ways to use shroud, but feeling lately is that tanks (or whoever makes the route) is more likely to extend or make routes based on pillars rather than classbased skip mechanics.

yes i do that for interrupts. I came back after years and I really like how rogue turned up. its been my main since TBC. And there were expansions that rogues werent so valued in PvE, at least in my experience I didn't get picked so much.

Hello guys i have tons of question , that i cant f igure it out , I start to play with expedient and Twisted appendage ( both carapace dagger ) , and my probleme is , when i sim ,the sim say to me to change every enchant from haste to masteries , but when i look at other rogues , they whole get same masteries than me , but tons of crit instead , i dont sim crit that high , Even with expediant , now my haste is rly low in ratio , maybe i got too much haste , and i feel bad to have no crit ( like 1k1 ) , idk if you can help me to figure it out .( soz for my english and if i'm not " clear " )

Even with Raz' setup it's mostly to do with the amount of Haste for Exsang, like Exsang + 2x DD/3x HoD is only like 0.1% lower than 3x SS
The SS isn't really the key part of the setup at all
But running that setup does let SS be roughly equal to DD

Guys, I have trouble playing the coral in Mythic encounters. Most of the time if it's a single target fight, i use coral + vendetta when the coral is around 20 stacks, but on fights where you need to alternate or during intermissions (Wrath -> Spikes, Ilgynoth -> Tumors, Drest -> A lot of target swapping) I have no idea what to do and how to play it.
Can someone help me out, because based on sims my coral is BIS and a big dps increase

Stars isn't really simbait it just requires you to give some thought as to your fight length instead of running 5 minute default all the time.
I would argue that Stars is as simbait as TA is parsebait. :P
There are certainly fights where Stars isn't optimal but also TA won't generally perform how it looks on top parses either so you have to consider both factors.

Regarding the talk about corruption, going up corruption tiers is just gonna get worse and worse as time goes on since adding 20 more corruption when our base budget well over 100 just gets less and less valuable relatively speaking
I still do it when going for parses but like.. the difference is actually pretty small now between the 3 corruption tiers

It was scuffed from time to time in bfa even bloodmallet had problems getting proper sims for raw dps on it - and i think it should sim higher for me with exsanguinate etc, but it sims like crazy bad for me for some reason

Think i was told to just use Vendetta on CD and use vanish separate, but what does my vanish window become? @deminith if u want to exactly compare gear for m+ u should sim for every dungeon. Just remember how u tank pullin, calculate mobs and time to kill based on key level and u group. If this is just pugged 10-15 eb better than hod only on massive pulls, if u tank wanna kill 3 than 3 than 3 mobs just stack ss and use u hod piece
