yes and the added crit damage (BotE makes your crits do 25% more damage for 5 seconds and increased crit chance by 25% for 10 seconds) Because all hits of EB crit, it's worth only using FoK for the first 5 seconds of BotE where both buffs are present

it also depends on number of targets, that is most optimal in 5+ target situations due to the nature of EB proccing on the next 5 critical hits. on 2-3 targets I would probably stick with envenoming on 5CP

ah, well single target is still mostly the 3 DD + min 1 NP build. Some fights where there are important adds to kill where 3 SS is better. for M+ SS and EB are both amazing traits. I prefer 3 SS min 1 EB, but any combo is good. In M+ If I have 1 EB trait I would FoK over envenom on 4+ targets, with 2-3 I would probably FoK over envenom on 3+ targets. But still only in the BotE window.

Their poisons will be stronger and apply to their blades faster than other Rogues, along with always infecting targets when attacking from Stealth. Assassination once again has access to Ambush as an option for their initial attack from Stealth.
Blindside (Talent) has changed to give the Assassin a chance to allow access to Ambush even while out of stealth, with a higher chance on lower-health targets. Shiv gets access to another an upgrade through Toxic Blade, reducing its cooldown to provide more frequent assaults of increased Nature damage.

BotE, Lucid, Iris, BotD
is what a lot of people use. Can Exchange BotE for BotD, CLF or maybe even WV.
But just sim it and apply some common sense.

and its just a flat 10% dmg proc for 20 seconds when it procs, definitely not terrible as some ppl think

for me for example i have 470 surging1 socket boots and 460 severe2 socket boots, both 15corr and the severe is better but only by like ~100dps or something

Select the Items/traits/Gems/enchants/essences you wanna comare and click on simulate further down
