First of all my damage is very bad on that fight... we are currently wiping after we kill the 3rd tentacle so about halfway through i would say. When i checked logs, it seems that most people are playing with Reaping Flames which seems legit. But i havent used it yet i am unsure of what is the most efficient way to use it, on CD?

@next arch even tho coral is very important i wouldnt coin for that... you will probably get the chance of doing the fight in mythic and hc once a week, if you suspect that doing hc caparace wont be sure i would coin there, since the corruption proc is strong there, but the best option is go to raidboots and sim yourself

Im not enterelty sure, but i think the reason why subterfuge sims you best is because since you got VoP as major essence you wont be using vanish+evenom+dd+envenom while you are under vendetta effect

its situational, if you dont need a big amount of dagame in certan point you pop the coral stacks everytime you use vendetta and star stacking 20 sec later when you got your trinket cd up (asuming you only have 1 trinket of use)
Otherwise if you need burst in one phase (for example, last phase 1 of maut, phase 2 of the dog...) you can keep stacking till that moment

Always take 3 SS but the number of EBs I like to take depends on the dungeon and affixes.

I think it really depends on where your stats are at now, I'd guess the logic behind that is the extra crit ends up weighing less than the extra mastery
