If u have a group of 5 mobs that have 1m hp each and 1 mob with 3m hp, it is better to kill the small ones in 20s and big one in 30 than small ones in 5 and big one in 35

situational, you want to have enough energy regen to sustain being able to cast an ability every time possible

you can achieve that multiple ways, you can abuse the mechanic that rupture gives you energy when an enemy that has it dies quickly (for example in reaping aoe)

usually its 3-4 targets though

and in small pulls (5-6) garrote deals just way to much damage to let it go
