Most of exsangs power doesnt come from speeding up garrotes, its more from speeding up ruptures
Since you cant apply vanish garrotes after your existing ones have fallen of for more uptime (since it is tied to vanish cd)
Since you get most of your vanish garrotes inside vendetta anyway (20 out of 24 seconds)

theres a few bosses where you can align vanish pretty well and use it on CD to get multiple garrotes out
i.e. grong, jadefire, opu are 3 fights back to back where its pretty gud
rasta as well
its pretty decent for jaina too if you hold vanish and use it right as she teleports at the end of p2 so you get garrote on her and the wall
although that might be offset by the actual gain of DD, so im not sure how useful SS will be for the last handful of bosses

on blockade we dont really switch all that much to the adds, thats mostly a ranged job while we burn the boss, mekka you cant use it at all, and the use for jaina is very limited and questionable too

I've recently started trying Exsang instead of Toxic Blade since I finally got a Galecaller and it seems to do pretty well when I'm testing it myself and simming it. I have some questions though, maybe they're already answered somewhere but I can't find it.
- Do you always refresh your bleeds to max duration before using Exsang?
- Do you save your second Exsang until Galecaller is back up? (15 sec downtime)
- If 2 is true, do you hold Vendetta an extra 15 seconds for Exsang and Galecaller to be back up again?
- Should I Vanish-apply Garrotes before or after Vendetta the second time Vanish comes up?

I found this about gutripper
Gutripper is considered a "white attack" and can be blocked, dodged, and parried. Against raid bosses, it has a 3% chance (for non-Tanks) to parry when facing the boss.

@primal gazelle I’m not sure why crit/vers being favored in those sims would surprise you. Mastery isn’t doing a whole lot for you on huge AoE pulls when you’re not running CT.

If the sim was done with 100% uptime on TC, then I’d lean toward the other option since 100% uptime is unrealistic.
