I feel sin excels mostly due to CD/Add timings. I've been playing 2x DD and 1x SS and vanish empowered garrote boss and both adds every time.

CT vs PB is mainly down to your group, the dungeon itself and your pull sizes, with PB naturally having an edge in boss fights.
It's mainly the combination of affixes and dungeons that favour one or the other. High Tyr KR/Temple favour PB in general, due to low pulls and harder bosses.
In terms of Exsang vs TB; Exsang wins since it works well with SS traits and it's only 1 global on your priority target for some burst damage and extra energy.
TB usually locks you to that target to gain the most out of it.

-Not utilising vanish as a DPS CD (1 use in a 4 minute fight, not used in opener)
-TB on CD (Yes that also means if you need to refresh dots during, best avoided but better to refresh during than letting dots drop off or missing a cast)
-Triple mutilates (Dont do this, finish 4+)

Quick question about Kimbul's Razer Claw. It sims significantly higher for other melee classes, DH in particular. What is the cause for this? Admittedly I do not know much about trinket proc rates. I remember way back when they were generally a proc per minute thing and not a flat percent chance. Has this changed? Or is the interaction simply due to DH having different abilities and maybe something like eye beam that can proc multiple times?

I sim my char on raidbots and it says, that i sim the most with 3shroudeds and exsanguinate, but bloodmallet says, that doubledose would be better and even on warcratlogs the most play with 3 double dose and toxid blade. Cant raidbots sim shrouded properly? because i could go 3 double dose too.
