I only DoT the add for a bit of extra damage and then the boost of energy you get when it dies. The add just melts at this point so there's no real reason to properly swap to it (didn't do much during progression either).

I’m sure there are builds where you could make decent use of MFD in M+, but with the typical SS builds, it wouldn’t be very useful. You’re already wasting CPs on purpose to get more garrotes out early in the fight. You also don’t have enough energy for triple Garrote without vigor, which would make MFD a huge DPS loss in most situations.

I think MFD could work if you have >30% haste so you could still get 3 garrotes inside the subterfuge window, but then you’re running suboptimal secondary stats to make a suboptimal talent work.

General usage rules are now:
- Use Mutilate at 2 Targets always, swapping targets with Mutilate briefly if needed to reapply poisons to the second target (with or without Double Dose)

Thats the weird thing about wowanalyzer atm at least for sin it says that the analyzer supports it for 8.0.1 (https://wowanalyzer.com/#Specializations) but whenever you run a report through it the site says the spec isnt supported
Also afaik @buoyant coyote You dont aim to do finishers in EP its great if you can but your main focus should be maximizing envenom uptime
So to do that you envenom watch for your envenom buff to fall off and cast your envenom at the last second to elongate the buff ,and while waiting youve heopfully built up enough energy to cast another envenom before that one wears out

You run the shrouded suffocation trait and on opener you triple garrote (if its a bigger scary pack yo vanish and triple garrote 3 other mobs) then put rupture up on the biggest longest living target
then ct and/or spread rupture
