hey guys, i have a question about azerite traits for Assassination. The guide states that the best one to look for is shrouded suffocation in the outer ring, but in the dps meter it is one of the worst ones you can get. i have a piece of gear that can get Double dose, but the guide says to use shrouded suffocation but in the dps it says that double dose is much higher. Is it recommended to use Shrouded suffocation because you rarely use mutilate to apply poisons for Double dose to take affect? Thanks for answering in advance guys 😃

what do you mean by rarely use mutilate? you use it all the time. Shrouded Suffocation is amazing in M+ because you get to restealth so often. Double dose > SS for single target.

Hello Guys, I’m playing rogue in M+ for only second week rn and have a question. Generally we are running a setup of Rogue/Boomkin/Flex DPS. Last week was Fortified and I was running CT almost all the time, except of running PB for KR. Right now it is Tyrranical and I’ve switched to PB for every dungeon and I don’t feel that it is helping to kill the boss in any visible way. Although, my AoE dps dropped due to not having a CT.
So should I continue running CT even on Tyrranical week?

you should be able to hit the boss during the eye phase
In my guild we losely spread out and when the eye spawns on someone, the guys next to him move
with rolling deceits, you sprint at 3-4 seconds left or something
depends on where they want you to drop it
Make sure that during running your rupture and garrote wont fall of on the boss
other then that. for padding (as sin) you can choose to spec crimson tempest.
if you have SS, you can wait with vanish untill the adds spawn and then vanish to do 4 garrotes on them

Im progressing on M Fetid and starting to run higher keys. I feel like I'm missing something that could improve my dps dramatically, but can't place it. Theorycrafting is good, but you also have to see what people are doing to get results. Look at their gear. Piece the puzzle together. Make it make sense to you.
Some of the best rogues on the top 50 list are still using 340-345 SS pieces.

Well, thats why I caveat those responses with "I don't imagine it will make a big difference." Ultimately it is good to know the optimal way to execute something, but if you miss the .5 second window a few times a fight, it is not going to be the difference between a kill and a wipe. I doubt it would even be the difference between an orange log vs purple log.

from what im noticing, there is specific pieces droping for every region , exemple, for vuldanai there is X Y Z possible azerite gear for everybody, on zuldazar is A B C, so if i can know what r the possible drops, i can put the lower ilvl on the gear the i want/need and have more % to get, and all this is speculation

I'm not quite sure what you mean. All I can really say for sure is that the emissary quest rewards for Azerite armor only drop the generic pieces, like "Gonk Outrunner" and "Death Snap" and "Blood Bog."
Out of all the "generic" pieces, there isn't a helm that gives Shrouded Suffocation.
There are shoulders and chest, but no helm.

I have the same 375 Swirling Sands you have (Deathsnap Hood) but I don't think it would beat out Archive.
You can stack Archive before the dungeon even starts (on a dummy) and then pretty much keep up the 20 stack the entire dungeon if your group pulls quick enough.

@warm geode Here's my Mythic+ sim. Keep in mind that Archive stacks start at ZERO in the sim, so it takes time for them to ramp to 20. Because of this, I think Archive would be better than Swirling Sands, assuming you're starting at 20 stacks, going from pack to pack.
