If you pull big Sim higher targets, if lower less targets. If you do higher enough keys go to 1 minute. Aoe simming isn't as exact as ST because of all the variables but it's still closer to the truth than a guess

@mortal basalt when you are using raidbots, you can set boss numbers. 6 targets is probably fine. Make sure array is off. but the flask. food. potion is up to you.

just be consistent. when comparing traits.

I personally don’t like using serrated blades. The rotation for it seems wonky. The shrouded suffocation/Subterfuge rotations seems a lot smoother. I prefer it even tho it might not aim as high.

I personally feel like I can execute the SS/S rotation better than SB/MA, betting on myself so to speak.

Just because it sims better doesn’t mean it’s right for you. A sim is an ideal Scenario with only sunshine’s and rainbows, anyone who has ever fought in m+ or raids knows those don’t exist.

I found that too killda. It hasn’t been that brutal since my boss damage is still good but I’ve been looking into another spec/configuration for tyrannical weeks.

@mortal basalt basically when you pull way more than 6, scent takes over, but when you pull 3t there is nothing better. and in ST there are a few better than ss, but they are pure st traits. SS is a good balance for M+.

There will be a herodamage fight sim, that will attempt to do waves of single and packs and bosses, with restealths between. but its a bit wonky to use right now.

hey guys, whats your opinion for my M+ setup
i can go with double douse+blood scent+archive/laser matrix or 2SS+blood scent (but i drop 10ilvl from each azerite)

Depends on what you are trying to get out of it.

I prefer the play style of ss atm and my dps is still solid enough to get into groups so I use that.

Really if you don’t care about maximizing dps, the. Use what you feel works the best for you.

If you care solely about maximizing dps then sim them both and go with what’s higher.

i do care, im at 1200 io atm but the thing is that simming isnt always 100% viable on M+ cause mobs die much quicker and you get small to big pulls depending on the tank and setup and week

I personally feel like ss/subterfuge is really good for fortified. It’s decent on tyrannical too but not as amazing as fortified where the mobs have more HP.

hey guys quick question - i see some a top rogue with 20% crit 15% haste 39% mastery and another top rogue with 30% crit 4% haste 36% mastery both running exsang/crimson tempest ---- can anyone explain the reasoning behind the difference in stat priorities and why they are using exsang/crimson tempest instead of toxic blade/poison bomb
