It's better for healers as well because they get to do minisips of drinks that tanks never notice. Also, just compare the overall damage in a run where he gives you a few seconds between packs and one where he doesn't.

hey there, can someone tell me, why my envenom dmg is so low in comparison to rupture and garrote ? I was checking out taloc mythic kill, i only did 10k dmg. And compared it to a 14k parse. Of course there is itemlevel and the average hit on his envenom was 3k higher which makes 100k diffrent on 33 casts. But my envenom is on 4th place behind garrote, melee and rupture.
Does envenom just scale better with main stat than rupture and garrote ?

Shrouded Suffocation
Currently still bugged. Applying 1-3 Garrotes in Subterfuge, and then applying another Garrote outside of Subterfuge, all of your Subterfuge-empowered Garrotes lose the Shrouded Suffocation multiplier, However the Subterfuge multiplier still remains.
Advised to not cast unbuffed Garrotes to avoid losing SS trait damage bonuses until this has been fixed.

What I usually do when it's 3+ targets is that I dot 3 targets with garrote, while on the 3rd target I also put rupture then spam fan of knives untill i have 4+ cmp nad apply rupture on the rest of em.
Do keep in mind that if there are more than 3 targets you do not want to put a "normal" Garrote on the 4th target beacuase ot the bug

Currently still bugged. Applying 1-3 Garrotes in Subterfuge, and then applying another Garrote outside of Subterfuge, all of your Subterfuge-empowered Garrotes lose the Shrouded Suffocation multiplier, However the Subterfuge multiplier still remains.
Advised to not cast unbuffed Garrotes to avoid losing SS trait damage bonuses until this has been fixed.

@oblique copper I'm using it to run away in case of wipe, lol. But if you want to use it for the DPS gains on the harder packs in M+ that are alive for too long then use it when you cannot restealth. Or when tank won't let you restealth...
Keep in mind that you need to have almost full energy bar, so you could apply garrote to as many enemies as possible.

Thing is, more often than not it does not put me in the right stealth (even though my character is melded, I can not use the stealth ability and my garrote is not empowered by neither the subterfuge nor SS). For some reason I'm still in combat, and I have no idea why sometimes it lets me do everything the vanish does and sometimes it does not.

@weak trench just sim the traits, gameplay's the same. And talents. maybe toxic blade is better for you for some reason. In M+, I believe, SS is still the top 1 trait because of constant restealths.
