Shrouded Suffocation
Currently still bugged. Applying 1-3 Garrotes in Subterfuge, and then applying another Garrote outside of Subterfuge, all of your Subterfuge-empowered Garrotes lose the Shrouded Suffocation multiplier, However the Subterfuge multiplier still remains.
Advised to not cast unbuffed Garrotes to avoid losing SS trait damage bonuses until this has been fixed.

To be entirely transparent, all specs doing well, Assassination tends to perform better in progression due to its' sticky damage. Some encounters are simply better suited for other specs as their burst cleave suits the encounter better, and so long sustained DPS is taken into consideration all are fine.

They also all play differently, so don't end up playing something you hate.

EX requires understanding mechanics a bit more and planning where you us Vanish, Vendetta, and EX.

Its more like.... back in the day the way dots worked was if you had a damage amplifier (pot and trinket procc say) your dots would be stronger for the whole duration. So they would “snapshot” your current stats.

Now most dots update dynamically.

But back in the day you’d want to apply dots with trink procs or damage buffs and not refresh them unless you had stronger procs / the dot fell off.

@worldly sentinel the only thing that matters in M+ is your ss garrote open. Do not bug it, and you will do 20k dmg.

My guild is telling me to go outlaw, due to the low amount of stability from Assassination, but.. PERSONALLY I believe it has to do a lot with

  1. Not a big understanding of the rotation and such, and

  2. Azerite traits. Lol.
