If you're at a point where you're getting gear too frequently for simming to be worth it, you're probably not at a point where you need to worry about min/maxing talents.
So just play whatever gets you enjoy most until you start simming.

@maiden raptor for 5man content if you can pull big, the Rupture agi is nice if you can rupture 4 or 5 things.

well, a fresh lvl 110 can pull an entire zone without any problems
a fresh 120 dps gets problems if you pull more then 3 enemys without throwing a cd and shit takes much longer too kill until you gear up a bit

so ass is actually quite a bit faster for the obvious reason of haste being a great stat now whereas before you were probably aiming for 0% haste

given that you are not locked to a spec in BFA as much it helps to just learn the strengths/weaknesses of each spec
you need 2 daggers and a mainhand and you can play any spec and all the secondaries are mostly similar in terms of priority for each spec.

Rogue: We’re primarily talking about Outlaw (AoE specialist) and Subtlety (single target specialist, but Assassination is still a very good spec as well. As I write this, Blizzard is announcing damage nerfs to all three specs, but I still have this class at the top of my list because of its utility. Rogue damage will remain good-if-not-fantastic, but Shroud has become a must-have ability in light of a recent change this week on beta that disabled Failure Detection Pylons in M+. Where once a group could run past mobs, drop a pylon, intentionally die, and then use the pylon, now groups have to either burn a battle res or hope that their tank can kite the mobs far enough to let the rest of the group slip by. Rogues are more necessary to high level play than they ever have been.
