i don't like full sets personally. it's not creative. i also don't like using robes or matching pants and chest pieces..as that's too close to "full set" look..it's the bulk of a mog. and if you're going to runa round in full robe or matching chest and pants, might as well go the rest of the way to full set. matching minor stuff like belts, shoes, gloves etc..doesn't bother me as they aren't what's covering the most real estate on a character model

The legs and chest thing is bs imo. Fact is that most pieces in wow only have a few things that match them, adding in too many different sets often looks bad because of different parts having non matching shades or colours not found in the other pieces. While unique mogs with only one or two of the same set pieces is possible and can look great, showing off creativity and imagination too, most ppl who attempt it fuck it up and make it look like fifty shades of shit

Crab saying a set is shit is good when all the others are saying its a good start and not oferring anything else. it lets the person know that even tho he's being pat on the back, the set needs work. they should learn not to take things personally, they should know its not an attack against htem and that its a simple statement about their mog. its annoying to have to specify that every harsh critique that when the others show up to defend that persons honour
