I think theres something to be said for the prestiege of doing a difficult task at level within a certain period of time

And the exclusivity of the reward you earned for doing so being kept just that

I'm not sure how big a fan of bringing back old CM rewards is the same way I'm not sure how happy id be if they brought back the mage tower.

Part of the reward of playing difficult content during those expansions is the few unique looks you get from them.

As for unlocking sets on alts if you did it on main, I doubt they will just because of how different armour sets are to weapons? Weapons are far less defining items than a complete class themed armour set and are probably regarded as mattering less

Opening up cm sets to all chars would probably be the the equivalent of doing it with elite pvp sets too

but so long as there are notable differences the prestiege of old stuff is kept

and there's no reason to waste good armor sets

If the model is unique to it, I think it shouldn't get a recolor

But if recolors are still available somewhere else recolors are ok

So a recolor of the old elite sets is ok since the mythic versions are still obtainable, and a recolor of the mog CM armor is ok since its the class hall armor.

But a recolor of the mage tower skin wouldn't be ok

Removing the prestige of items from previous expansions is a bad move and people trying to argue that because it's been so long, or because they just couldn't play then, that it should be made obtainable again are silly

If everything is always obtainable then there is 0 rush to get anything done, ever. And nothing is gonna be prestigious cuz at one point, probably during a prepatch for an expansion, classes will be broken and fly through that shit easily

I’d look at the cataclysm mogs, purple ulduar, and LFR heart of fear

See if you can find any notable shoulders or helms that match and start from there
