@gloomy drum. I do like it without the shoulders! The only thing that sticks out to me are the weapons. They're very clean and contrasts in a jarring way with the bloodied/rusted/rough look of your character's arms, forearms, and hands. Perhaps seeking darker daggers or dirtier daggers would help, but that's my suggestion.
