It's based on your prestige which is account wide now but the amount of honor needed was multiplied by 4.

So for reference the max prestige in legion was 1.1m honor and to get the same reward in BFA it's 4.4m

However you can earn the honor across alts whereas before it was character specific so 🤷

Mounts I recommend using Sharkbait or Squawks, as they're the clear winners for the pirate theme. If you don't have either of them, the Stormwind Skychaser works if you're Alliance, as it's the closest mount we have to captaining a ship. Or the new Dreadwake mount that was just released.

@molten quarry You can transmog Fear to main-hand. When you choose to transmog right hand, then you just need to right click on Fear/vengeance and turn the other version. Then it lets you mog to them
