Its not the fangs of the father, its the version before that, the dreamer, they made it transmoggable in legion, a friend just informed me that certain items are bugging out in the transmog window so this might be why its not working.

got this whole blue/yellow/brown theme going. The theme itself isn't bad. The shoulders really aren't a good fit, since they are way too dark for the colors you're trying to use. Chest piece is a bit on the slutmog side, which isn't a good thing. overall i say it's not a bad idea but not executed well either, so 4/10

They're super rare drops, you'll get the quest after you loot them. They drop from vault of the wardens and nelth lair

No requirements, I did it with all BFA gear.
(including BFA weapons)
You'll need the artifact equipped to actually apply the final item you get though, but the drops were not dependent on it
Vault of Wardens took quite a few runs for the drop, the other one dropped on the first attempt for me, ymmv

if you have the mage tower already, you can still get the tints. if you don't have it, I don't believe you can.

Yeah the only set I like is the alliance plate set. The elite version is slightly decorated differently but same color as the warfront set. So there's like little to no incentive to push a character for the mog.

But, blizzard doing as they always do, they showcase three colors for the armor and only ever use two, one garbage one and one 'okay' one

They need to make us wield sword + 1-h gun/crossbow (survival hunter also uses 1-h crossbow which helps justify creating it as an item type).
then they could also open up MM hunter to dual wield 1h gun/crossbows, would be sick.
