They might eventually release a model that is similar, but not as special as the CM Weapons . Reason I say this is that they did this with the MoP CM armor sets with the legion order hall sets. So who knows. Maybe there will be something that resembles it in the future that is always obtainable.

Works on any weapon you can mog. It's mostly cosmetic since you lose out on the traits for your artifact weapon.

It's due to how you have to do it. It's a glitch with spec-specific transmogs.
Since you can't mog your artifact weapon unless you're in the right spec, it can't be done.

Fwiw, in-game the shoulders aren't bad actually. For some reason on model viewer they look a lot worse. They're pretty shiny, have dark cloud smokey aura coming off them like gunpowder

I finally got these shoulders so I had to dungeon spam the red daggers too. Shame I cannot find any other matching tabbard than tabbard of flame. There is few close calls but nothing that would be better than hidden tabbard.
