So you can ask a friend to buy you something without need for chat linking each item.
Same might work for any "shop" like where you have a choice for items.

There are players who don't want to share what they have and be egged on or pressured to get whatever it is, so I think taking the second or two for pinging items in chat should be something that's expected for players who want to partake in shared shopping.
