I think it would be pretty neat to have a mode where people can battle online or against AI challengers. You could test different builds against one another and just have a cool time with friends with friendly competition rather than only having the option to work together.

There is pvp mode tho. One of the lucid dreams enables friendly fire for the run from start :p

Interesting, I'm only an hour or two in on solo mode, so I wasn't aware. That's cool, but seems like it would be used for trolling by most users though instead of like testing builds. I guess that you could use friendly fire when the waves end, or use the waves as an upgraded version of PvP. Very interesting, and I'll have to play some online.
