Despite the skill clearly stating "Your basic attacks become ranged", Aurena is not considered a ranged character for the purposes of this Reverie. Either the Identity Memory should be rephrased("Your melee basic attacks gain x range"), or Reveries should count Ranged Aurena as a Ranged Traveler.

I believe the Reverie is based on the classes typing which is shown under your character's level and not a passive that grants them ranged attack
