Pets would be a new addition to the game, each one would cost 4 RP, here are some suggestions: Dog, Cat, Fish (In a bowl on wheels), and lizard. They would follow the player around and if you want to switch them out, you could go to a new machine that would be added, labeled “Daycare.” It would be like the stash except you can only put pets in.
The pets would be invincible, not allowing any monsters or players to kill them. You could also pick them up, and feed them a consumable. You should also be allowed to change the color of your pet of choice.
