To unlock the ghost cosmetics you have to do a set of quests to get them. Like hats or colors too. And if you complete all the quests there are bonus quests that allows you to stay as a ghost for longer periods of time. Not too long but to the point where you can have a little bit of fun exploring as a ghost. And some other quests so that it also allows you to stay as a big ghost or tiny ghost until the time is out(you still have to eat broccoli first.)
