I literally just posted this 😭

#

I know alot of people have done this but I have my own take!

Background:

Like all the others in this loot salvage type of game, players must collect enough nuts to meet the nut quota and after each requirement the goal progressively gets harder.

#

How this Gamemode works:
This game is going to be roguelike and all saved progress and progression would be different from the main social game.

Players start with nothing except the free gear and must work their way up the ranks. Each quota that is met gives money/or research points that allows players to progress through gear.

#

Each level at the start is locked with the starting level being sewers, this gives players an incentive to go to known maps. Once players compete enough extractions another map unlocks and players are allowed to traverse between but only way to progress is to complete most recently unlocked map.

Research points: Unlock gear
Nuts: Used to fulfill quota but also used to buy owned items.
Extractions: Met quotas unlocks maps.

#

Incentive: Why would players want to play this mode??

This mode would not also introduce a new way to play but also for people who want to play normal animal company there would be achievements. Earnings achievements, earns research points for normal animal company.

You can only do achievements once
Unless daily rewards is decided to be added back
Example:
Kill 3 mimics = 1 free research point

#

Additional idea:
This Gamemode could possibly be permadeath, not in terms of dying but in terms of not meeting quotas. This would make it more like other company type games but include more replayability.
To combat this as I know some may not like that:

Lobby system instead of game codes to combat griefers.

#

Save system: Sacrifice something valuable and in return save your progress.
Such as a research point or animal coins.

(Could help with crashing and wanting to save for following day)
Would not work towards gameloss, that's cheesing the system.

Thank you for reading my game suggestion, this is a lot of content even though it's just building upon original systems. It would be cool to have as long as its not pay to win. Sorry for the lazy image, I didn't want to photoshop anything as this probably wont happen anytime soon.
