#Editor size not the same as "Run size" for game

When I am in the 2d editor I do not see how the game is supposed to look like when it is in bordered fullscreen, which is what I intend the game to run as, and this is the default startup choice when I hit "Run current scene" button. However when I miniminze the window I believe the editor lines up with the minimized version, and I developed for the minimized version up to this point before I changed to launch in full screen. The problem ultimately is that I cannot see what I add to the screen and scene. In the attached picture you can see the cutoff for minimized screen in orange, but imagine the area outside of this is space that actually becomes visibile when I run in fullscreen. Thereby I need to have sight past where the orange barrier is now.

Not entirely sure I understand the problem, but can't you just zoom out (for example using mouse wheel) in the editor to see the whole scene?

If you don't have a mouse wheel there's also these controls

Not the problem at all, basically there are visual elements that go beyond the orange square which I cannot see in the editor, but can see when I run. E.g if I put an image to just the right of the orange line I cannot see it in the editor, but I can see it when I "run scene" in fullscreen

Right, but if you zoom out, can't you see it then? Or press and hold middle mouse button to pan around the view.

No. For referece I think it is somewhat based on the purple line in the editor as well, if there was some way to edit the properties of the purple line I think I could see more elements

The lines on the editor move when you move the camera. It's just there to provide a reference point
