For my college project I'm going to make a small Godot game and because I'll be moving between many computers I need it to run smoothly between these. I am unable to download Godot on each computer due to college blocks so I assumed downloading it onto a USB I can bring with me would be best, and using 'self-contained mode'? However I honestly know nothing about computers and all the language around this seems so vague, I'm not sure what kind of file to set up, where, or anything. Included a screenshot of how it looks with one project created with nothing in it. Please talk to me like I have not heard of a computer 👍
#Running Godot on a USB?

When I say "enter: a b" that means enter the text as shown followed by the return/enter key. The above example involves 4 key presses: a, spacebar, b, return.
- Open the start menu
- enter:
cmd - a new window appears with some text in it that might look like
C:\users\yourusername\> - enter:
type nul > E:\._sc_ - close the window
- open the Godot app from USB and open your project
- check the USB drive, there should be a new folder called "editor_data" which confirms it's now portable
