#why is the mesh distorted in godot when imported ?

this is training for my major project for year 12 in school. i just need to know what not to do when the time comes around.
also, the model is done in blender
Make sure to Apply Transforms in blender.
Altho this seems like there is some non-triangular geometry in there. Like a quad.
