Godot engine keeps going to not responding on every change

Similar thing sometimes happens to me, and when it does I sometimes just switch tutorial/template. I'm curious if there is a fix though.

Are you using any @tool scripts? Those run in the editor. Depending on what it's doing it might by slowing things down.
