Is there any code in this scene? What does your input map look like?

The input map isn't empty by default, there's a toggle to show built in actions

which are mostly UI stuff

space is a default keybind to accept UI inputs

i'm not sure why every button is getting focus but it sounds like focus isn't set up properly
