Cetaceans Species List for PZ2

For anyone who is interested, in case we do get cetaceans in Planet Zoo, which species should we have?
Make a list of five to six species and please no large species like humpbacks or blue whales, just medium or small and can be from both fresh and saltwater.

I know it's difficult, especially since there was an attempt to keep it in captivity (once) and it didn't work, but I would love it if we could officially have the Vaquita (Phocoena sinus) in an animal conservation game. It would be very helpful in informing the public about what we know about this species and would help raise awareness about its conservation.

also, if anyone wants, you can also make a list for pinnipeds, after all, we do need more seal species.

tbh i’d be fine if we only got the bottlenose dolphin and the beluga, but dream scenario we would get orcas + ecotypes

My Cetacean wishes are:

1. Orca 🫍(my absolute dream to have🖤)
2. Bottlenose Dolphins 🐬
3. Amazon River Dolphin
4. Beluga
5. Pacific White Sided Dolphins
6. Commerson Dolphin
7. Harbor Porpoise

With those 7 the cetacean rooster would feel pretty complete for me and I wouldnt need more (even though there are of course alot more awesome Dolphin species!)

But I would already be the happiest person alive if we just got Orcas and Bottlenose Dolphins🥰

I'd really like the beluga. There's an aquarium near me with them that's basically universally known around here.

The worlds most endangered large whale species. Ive never heard anyone talk about them or recommend them.

Personally I value conservation awareness over the more popular Bottlenose Dolphin ( least concern ) Though I do appreciate them and expect to see them in PZ2!

Yeah, some of my "Runner ups" would be:

Common Dolphin, Pilot Whale, La Plata Dolphin, Tucuxi, False Killer Whale, Striped Dolphin, White-beaked Dolphin, Vaquita

I mean I would already the most happy If we even got a few out of my top seven in the Game, but Frontier can feel free to add them all🐬😂

With the comfimartion of the golden lion tamarin, which other species of monkeys would you guys like to see?

I think they should be somewhat limited in their approach with cetaceans. I'm personally against the inclusion of Orcas (too big, live in too big of pods, and too active to be practical in a realistic zoo setting; not to mention they are by far the most controversial cetacean when it comes to keeping them in captivity), so here's what I would like in terms of realistic options that are (relatively) common in captivity:

• Common Bottlenose Dolphin
• Pacific White-Sided Dolphin
• Beluga
• East Asian Finless Porpoise
• False Killer Whale
