Sdanwolf and Rudi Rennkamel asked a really good question: what could be done to improve the game and bring back more players? Here is my personal "wishlist" (or idea list). If you have ideas of your own, feel free to share them!
Workshop Feedback & Interactivity: Currently, the Workshop lacks engagement. You upload a creation, and... nothing happens. A simple comment or feedback section would be a huge improvement, along with the ability to add at least two more preview pictures. Anything that makes the Workshop feel more "alive" would greatly improve the experience.
Native Mod Integration: There’s a reason users invest so much time and effort into creating mods: they fill a gap for features we desperately want. Tools like Sky Studio, ProTrack, and TooMuchScaling are essential. Native implementation is always better; both the developers and the players would benefit greatly from officially integrating these features.
Better Biomes & Map Packs: Games like Transport Fever, Cities: Skylines, and Fabledom keep me coming back because they offer interesting maps to build on. Unfortunately, the map tools in Planco 2 have felt a bit lacking since release. I’d love to see more customization for the background and the surrounding environment—letting players choose between oceans, flat land, cityscapes, or dense forests.
Advanced Building Tools: We need a spline system for various building elements. The new animation pieces already show the high potential of tools like mirroring, circular arrays, and advanced transforms. These are the "modern" systems players expect—similar to the line tool in Cities: Skylines 2.
