Since increasing the number of available classes is already on the roadmap, I think it may also be a good idea to introduce an option to make some classes playable only if the players are willing to pay a set one-time price for the "premium" class when logging into the game for the first time (or alternatively, paying a higher subscription fee). I think this would add nicely to the options for creating a Free to Play game with microtransactions.

As the subscribers are already rating the classes, I think there is already some base for the idea.
Of course the details and the amount of features would depend on how complex or simple the developers believe the feature should be. I, for one, would be happy with a simple one-time fee, but here are a few suggestions:

  • P2W classes would be expected to be of a higher rating than F2P classes (within reason). There could be some leeway before nerf demands appear; on the other hand, buff requests could appear more easily from P2W class players, as the paying players expect to have an advantage.

  • If the P2W class is too weak, new players would not choose it and existing players would have less patience and unsubscribe easier. If it's too strong, the game would attract P2W players, but it would greatly discourage the F2P class players. So, balance would be required. I believe a similar mechanic is already in place in the current class system - it wouldn't have to be much different, just a stronger effect since it's the toons' real money we're talking about.

  • P2W class-specific areas dungeons or buildings (maybe implementable along with factions or as distant future features?).

Thank you to everyone for your attention! love

P.S. I haven't seen a similar suggestion, I hope I'm not just blind 😆

This is definitely a good idea! I thought about it too.

Also make awakening classes that are not available at start of the game. (this will solve problem of endgame content) When players reach maximum level, they can, for several thousand (millions) of gold, or real money, change their class to awakening class (and reset their level to 1). It would be good if there was option to make which awakening classes are available for certain classes.
