I tied in a similar way and it told me that I had enough rings to pass, so I assume it's just based on the players with the most rings

When it comes to a tie, the ones with the mist rings move on. Luckily, I moved on during one. It told me that I had the rings to pass. The fact that it doesn't tell you that you don't have enough and since you're a 1st time user, leaves a lot confusion. I hope the devs see this one
