  1. It would be nice to have a basic planning tool that would make it easier to create a perfect floor plan with out having the hassle of going back and forth between the build and destroy,
    At the moment the closet "planning tool" we have is just building wall, its ok as a planning tool but could be improved.

for example now if I'm planning and make a mistake. I have to make 2 clicks just to remove the mistake and another 2 clicks to get back to planning.
Instead we could just have a simple tool where you with left click and draw the walls and right click to remove the drawn wall

  1. It would also be nice to have a measurement when making rooms like a number on two sides of the square/rectangle. this would make it easier to see how big a room is going to be instead of having to manually count each square/tile and then use math to see if a 3x4 bedroom is going to be big enough.

You can also improve on this by adding the area of the room in the middle of the of the rectangle.

Example: see picture (making the numbers transparent would properly be a good idea)

agree definitely something I would like to see!

Having an option to plan not only rooms but also items and zones, would be great to plan out what rooms/items we would want out floor(s) to look like. This would help us a lot by pre-planning the layout of out Hotel with the exact vision of what we want before actually starting to build them up with the Build tool!

If you hold ctrl you can unbuild without switching to demolish. I just happened to try it because I've played other games with similar function, but they should probably make that clearer in the game. Unlike most other games with this feature, it works for straight walls AND boxes, so be careful when you want to keep one wall of a box. Right-click is already used for a camera function, so it would not be a viable alternative.

To add onto this, it’d be nice if there was a way to have builders prioritize between building and furniture placement. I’ve definitely been in the middle of an expansion where I’m still just in the planning phase and then something happens where I need to drop a piece of furniture or two but if I call the builders they’ll prioritize the entire building process before they even look at the furniture pieces

In some cases it's possible to move the doors/stairs/elevator to force them, but that isn't always an option so I would also love to have this function.
