#[Solved] Filament detected, but not loaded

When printing the cereal, I have an issues with lanes not unloading correctly. One lane seems to do it every time, other lanes do it occasionally.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I need to adjust or a troubleshooting guide / documentation I may have missed? Thanks

So when the spool unloads, it goes too far?

I'm not sure, I guess so, I can't pull it out without ejecting, so the extruder motor still has it gripped if that makes sense

#

I'm guessing it's unloading past the detection switch in the lane extruder?

That's what it sounds like. I'm assuming you've run the calibrations for each lane already?

Oo, you know what, I might've only run it on lane 1

#

I'll give that a whirl.

For the long bowden calibration you only need to do one, but each lane needs its own calibration for its distance to the hub

#

Also, since it happens on unload, you can rerun the bowden calibration, this can be a problem too if it calculated the unload length to be longer than it is. Doing this calibration with a rubber band holding the buffer closed will help with this.

Thank you

also pay attention to the unload from the toolhead, if it does 2 of the slow moves befire going to the fast one it can do this

Good point too, the value that would need to increase in this case is tool_stn_unload

I think recalibrating all lanes and the bowden, plus tuning my tool_stn and tool_stn_unload has sorted it. Only issue left is the CB1, but an upgrade is on it's way. Thanks for all your help.
