I have a venture xl that was feeding fine prior to adding the box turtle. I understand that with the size of the printer and adding the afc on top im likely pushing the cw2 beyond its limits. Im wondering if there is a setting in the config that can utilize the extruder for the lane in use as a filament assist. If it is already assisting are there any adjustments that can be made?

AFC syncs the primary and secondary extruder together so that the box turtle is feeding filament, this show alleviate stress on the primary extruder. What extrusion issues are you seeing?

It will feed normal and then i will have to push the filament manually to get it moving again and then it starts feeding.

You have to push the filament into the box turtle?

right where the filament feed into the box turtle i give it a light push and the filament feeds again. almost like there is either too much resistance and it's wearing a spot in the filament. It's a big printer and there's alot of bowden to travel through .

I would look at tightening the thumb screw on the extruder and make sure it’s getting enough bite to push the filament. What ID ptfe are you using to your print head?

2mm ID to the printhead, I can swap to 3mm ID if needed
