#Filament breaks in the PTFE tubes if left for a few days.

I've been having an issue where if I leave my printer off for a few days, I'll come back to the filament that's shattered, causing issues and me having to go back and clear it manually.

Why is it happening with my BT and it never was an issue with my normal voron where I could leave it in the tube loaded in toolhead for months without it shattering?

Any ideas what is going wrong?

sounds like humidity issues to me

Typical behaviour of humidity, I have this when I leave my spool on my switchwire out and about it’ll shatter eventually

Is this PLA ?
-> BT enclosure to the rescue heh

Oh wow, okay, im just flabbergasted that its only happening inside my BT, all other printers have been loaded for months withou any issues.

Yes, PLA, Im thinking about the enclosure.

It's always shattering just past lane extruder and the hub,

I was thinking maybe the tension is too much or something

it probably just has tighter bend radius than your other printers then

It is inherent to the BT design unfortunately, the unit features a small package and as such the initial Bowden curvature is tighter than what you would typically find on a non Multi Color system, e.g a standard reverse Bowden setup of a 2.4

Gotcha, I will keep experimenting with it, BT enclosure is next. Thanks for the insight!
