Feeder gear shaft lose

Hi, I'm working on my first BT kit. But, I can't get the extruder gear shaft to stay aligned with the filament path. The whole shaft can move up and down on the bearings. Is this an issue? Adjusting the grub screw doesn't do anything since the whole shaft can move.

This is an LDO kit I bought from Fabreeko.

as long as it doesn't shake around it shoudl be fine, the orientation of it installed will not have forces moving it left and right
