When loading or unloading, there are some times when the spools get stuck and I need to give them a hand by pushing or pulling the filament. I am currently calibrating my BT at the moment. I am sorry about the video quality. It happens about 50 percent of the time

Double check extruder tensions, are there any thin spots in the filament where the stalls are occuring?

there are. How do i increase the tension?

As much as it sucks to waste filament, youre going to want to remove those thin spots. You dont want too much tension on the extruders as it will grind the filament.

#

I typically tighten the thumb screw until the spring is touching both the thumb screw and guidler, then give it 1-2 turns after that, adjust the anti-squish as needed.

how tight should it be?

#

how do i adjust the antisquish?

#

@lethal horizon ok, I think ihave them tightened. Will test now

still happening 😭

Watching your video again, does the filament move smoothly through your turtleneck? It almost seemed to be stuck

#

like the bowden has been pulled into it too far

#

Theres likely something causing some restriction, in you vid the filament is very close to entering the tool head but seems to be stalled during the short moves that would get it to the sensor. This was either due to a thin spot, incorrect tension (which should be addressed after your retensioning) or a resriction of some type in the bowden path.

Sometimes it does. Sometimes, it pushes the neck out. The bowden hasn't been pushed to far into it because I am able to push the neck back by hand

#

I can try take the turtle neck out of the line tomorrow to see how it does

As long as it is still moving freely by hand its likely okay.

I think i fixed it. Redid the tensioning on the spoolers! Thanks
