Hello, I've just made a server on the paper egg, and it loads chunks very slowly. I'm using the default startup command and have 12gb of ram allocated to the server. The TPS however is on a solid 20. It's just the chunks that load very slowly.

its kind of weird, if i'm not loading chunks its at around 10%-50%-100% but when loading chunks it goes upto 100%-200%

It's an ampere 3 core cpu

minecraft servers need high single core performance. So the server overloading and your cpu getting fully utilised is probably due to its not so good single core performance.

you can maybe pregen your chunks in order to work around it. But for the rest there isnt really anyhting you can do
