I am completely new to using linux and pterodactyl and somehow managed to get a minecraft server running which I can access on my own network. right now im getting stuck on having other friends join me.
I'm looking for someone who can look along side me and explain in broad terms how this whole shebang works. (from what I can tell people expect to get paid and I'm willing to do that)

You will need to open port of your router or pay a service to forward your port
And all depend on your internet provider
Open port on router can expose you to risk but it’s free
Pay for a service is more secure
Do like you prefer

Yeah, I've done that. I used to have a server on windows.
I already looked at it with someone, but we got stuck.
