Hi all,

Just set up ptero inside of an LXC on my truenas server. I want to upload a forge minecraft server which I have onto my pterodactyl server so I used a forge egg to build a server.

My issue is that I am not sure how to access the file system within the LXC. Is there a way that I can change the world/mods or other files within the server files to use what I want for my forge server?

Either through the panels UI or SFTP. All server files are located in /var/lib/pterodactyl/volumes by default

When using SFTP info from the panel ui you are in the container of that server.

This is the whole server directory

no clue where you got the idea of a start.jar file from but that doesnt exist.

Server.jar my bad

#

It’s still not there tho

sinful dagger

do you see the file in the server via the panel ui?

obsidian orbit
#

Yeah the server is there and it works I just don’t know where all these files get downloaded to

#

I want to switch them out with my own server I already use

#

But to do that I need to know where they are located lol

you do not. there is literally a tab called files. if you go to your server on the panel.

fyi you also mentioned Minecraft 1.6.4 but you selected latest MC version ?

Yeah that was an error. Just experimenting with the file system for now

Thanks for ur help

sinful dagger

why are you even looking for a server.jar file

#

modern forge servers dont even have it anymore i think. they just use the schim file and then dynamically load the rest.

obsidian orbit

Ok maybe that’s why

you dont need to be in the admin side of the panel.

obsidian orbit

Oh maybe that’s why
