Hey, I have a question – is there any egg or another way to host Windows Server on the Pterodactyl panel? I’m wondering if it’s possible to sell Windows Server instances through Pterodactyl. How does this work in terms of licensing? What exactly is required to do this legally?

Let's clear some stuff up since it appears we're discussing running on Windows.

1.) The Panel will run fine on a Windows machine. You'll need to figure out how to get it running, we do not offer any support.
2.) Wings will not run on Windows.

In all, we do not recommend trying to run any of this software on Windows, you'll be completely on your own.

Please see the following for our currently supported systems: https://pterodactyl.io/wings/installing.html#supported-systems

Pterodactyl is not the way to do this..

If you are wanting to sell virtual machines look into virtulisation software..

Yeah this kind of thing is considerably more complex than you'd imagine at first glance

#

Pterodactyl is not for you if your entire stack is windows-based

#

Instead, look into hyper-v and applications that integrate with it

While it's true that technically there is such a thing as a Windows Docker container, in reality they're fraught with complexity, especially given that all your containers need to be based on the same version of Windows that your host uses
