Wings high disk usage

Hello, I have an issue with the disk usage in "wings". Even with the server not running any instane, and even after rebooting, wings is writing between 4-7MB/s . This constant writting makes the server too slow to be used. Any idea of what is happening when the server is just in stand by? It is a local server
