looks like it's trying to launch using a java launch command but might need to use a script?

Dont use the curseforge egg

I do know forge egg works just as good for curseforge

iirc parker said at some point that the curseforge egg is "abandoned" (or at least that he is no longer maintaining it)

Yea, i mean i think the curseforge egg is easier when it comes to mods, since it can handle it for you i think?

Forge you install it using correct version of mc and forge, and then download modpack server files, and upload them manually.

Yeah, where as the curseforge egg you just give it a curseforge ID will download forge and the pack and all the libs and everything.

Cus with forge you either stay at same version, or you keep replacing files everytime a update comes out

Sorry to post on this old thread, but is the curseforge egg usable, or not?
It doesnt seem to pull from curseforge with the apikey I provided

The Server starts and pulls the java image, but no files are added to the server, when i go to files.

I just use the normal forge egg, install the mc + forge version i need

and then get the serverfiles for the modpack > upload them myself to the server
