So my main question is to ask if i can use the machine dns for the wings

How i can set my wings server dns to check first the hosts file I have code with wrong domain (i lost him) and the code is binary i wrote it long ago i don't have the source now as well but everything working except the domain how i can make the domain redirect to my IP if I can't edit the hosts file in containers since I don't have access to the root files?
