Does the .git folder exist ?

If there isn't a .git folder then the startup command isn't going to make any attempt to pull updates. It can't - because it's not a git repo

#

You can't just make a .git folder.

#

Why does your install not have a .git folder? Did you manually upload the files?

#

If you don't have any data important in there, delete all the files and hit re-install.
It looks like you've manually uploaded files so you don't have a checked out repo

#

looks like your install failed. go to #egg-help and type .logs to see how to check your install logs

#

You run it on your node, not in the panel
