#MC Plugin cant connect to non local database

So essentially I got 2 VMs with unique IPs. VM A has the SQL database, and VM B has wings and a few game servers on it.

Configuring the database in the admin panel section to the IP of VM A dosnt work, only 0.0.0.0, and likewise connecting to the database with a plugin on VM B with the IP of VM A does not work.

I also looked at the response that the bot provides in similar posts and could not resolve the issue

Ah, fixed it. It was this step on the mysql setup tutorial.
