#How do i remove my nodes?

I've tried clicking delete node but when i try to create another node, it says bind address already in use. I don't know what to do. I've tried updating it to make it 8081/2023 but it still says in use

Yes and I removed the node from the panel but when I make another it says the ports are already in use

Sounds like you never stopped wings

nimble sapphire
#

I did a restart

onyx spade
#

And is wings running ? Did you actually check systemctl status ?

nimble sapphire
#

Yes everything is running

urban cosmos
#

screen shot sudo systemctl status wings.service

onyx spade

if everything is running then you don't need to be trying to start wings a second time

I just want to remove all nodes listed so when i create a new node the order starts back at 1

It won't start at 1. Its cause of the previous node installing it knows how many previously.

nimble sapphire
#

but look what i just said

#

fresh OS install and panel and wings install Fresh

#

just now

#

sudo wings spits out that and systemctl status wings.service spit out the ss before

#

i just do not understand what i am doing wrong

#

fresh OS install should've deleted all pterodactyl files and fresh wings install should have nothing using the ports

urban cosmos
#

systemctl status wings.service

#

Or replace status with restart

nimble sapphire
#

yes i did that

#

i did both

#

and same error

urban cosmos
#

ss -plnt | grep :8080

#

You can also use killall wings then start it backup

nimble sapphire
#

oh nice

#

i will try and see how it goes

nimble sapphire
#

did not work same error with bind address @urban cosmos

urban cosmos
#

And what did the FIRST one look like.

nimble sapphire
#

@urban cosmos sorry for late response but i tried the first command and my node is still offline

I have found the following for: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/1052284012292472892/1053357118427762688/Screen_Shot_2022-12-16_at_12.03.22_PM.png
Not good, @nimble sapphire! The host you're trying to reach might be invalid or its firewall is blocking your connection attempts gracefully.

If you believe the host to be correct and have checked it with dig or https://dnschecker.org/, it means your DNS might be experiencing issues. You can try to ping a different domain, such as Google and if it resolves the issue is not with your DNS and rather with the host you are trying to reach.

ping google.com

my dns is fine i can connect to it it's just the dang wings

nimble sapphire
#

this time im using just ip address and i've installed the wings but they refuse to go to the green heart

urban cosmos
#

do you have UFW enabled?

nimble sapphire
#

yes

urban cosmos
#

sudo ufw status

nimble sapphire
#

ok what the hell i've done nothing different and it somehow works on my ip without ssl. I'm going to reinstall and try it on my domain and do the exact same thing only difference is ssl and no ssl

#

well imma try on another ip and keep the current installation on the previous ip
