What do you mean very hard to do it manually? Spacebar pauses the game, no? How is that hard to do?

But to the point, yeah, I wouldn't mind an auto-pause just before the night begins. Sometimes things can get hectic so a forced auto-pause would be helpful to some players, but just make sure its a toggable option; you don't want to force the entire playerbase into a feature like that - let us choose.
